On the vast plains
On the dried, river beds...
Quenching the thirst of a thousand
suns which burnt my body alive...
Feeding life to thousand lives...
Liberating many a death
Filling the cups of a desperate
prayer...
It rained...
A blessing from up above...
With my tongue on fire my heart
parched..
It rained sweet drops of heaven
Liberating my soul...
Washing away my sins...
Breathing life into MY SOUL...
It rained
